Animals for Adoption
Welcome to our adoption page, where rescued animals are given a second chance at the life they deserve. Each animal listed here has their own story, personality, and spark — and all are looking for a safe, loving, forever home.
We’re passionate about placing animals into homes where they’ll be truly valued — not used, not bred, and never eaten. By adopting, you’re not only changing an animal’s life — you’re becoming part of a kinder future.
Browse our current animals below, and if one of them speaks to your heart, we’d love to hear from you.
💚 Adopt with compassion. Adopt for life. 💚
All adoptions go through our formal Animal Adoption Agreement, which ensures every animal is placed into a loving, non-exploitative home. It outlines your responsibilities as a guardian and our ongoing support commitment.
Let’s give these animals the peaceful futures they deserve. 💚

Charcoal & Panda (In Lamb)
Rangiora, North Canterbury

Meet Charcoal (left) and Panda (right) — two gentle, woolly sweethearts looking for a safe and loving forever home.
Charcoal is a curious and friendly ewe who enjoys grazing in the sun and quietly exploring the paddock with her mates.
Panda is currently in lamb and due to give birth in about 2 months. She’s calm and motherly, with a soft nature and a beautiful, expressive face. Panda will need a peaceful, secure space to raise her lamb(s), and both girls would thrive in a caring home where they can be seen as the individuals they are.
💚 They must go to a non-breeding, non-eating home where they’ll be loved and respected for who they are.

Jack & Royal
Christchurch, Canterbury

Royal and Jake are two lovely retired racehorses looking for a safe, experienced home where they can live out their days with care and companionship.
Royal is 7-year-old Standardbred gelding approx. 15.2–15.4hh
Royal is sweet-natured but skittish. With patient, consistent care, he builds trust over time. He’s pigeon-toed, but it doesn’t affect his movement. He’s an easy keeper and maintains weight well.
Jake is 17-year-old Thoroughbred gelding approx. 15.2–15.4hh
Jake is a relaxed, affectionate boy who enjoys attention and being around people. He does have a stubborn streak and prefers to do things on his own terms, so a calm, confident handler is ideal. He can be a bit harder to keep weight on, so he benefits from a thoughtful feeding routine and ongoing condition monitoring.
If you’re able to offer Royal or Jake (or both) a forever home filled with patience and peace, please get in touch.

KuneKune Boys
Birdlings Flat, Canterbury

These two young Kune Kune boys were taken in a year ago by a kind elderly man when they were in need. He offered them safety when no one else would — but sadly, his health has since declined, and he can no longer provide the care and environment they deserve.
They’ve been living in a small pen with limited interaction, and still don’t have names — just two gentle souls waiting for someone to truly see them.
Their ages are a best guess, with one likely around 4 years old and the other closer to 1. Both are unneutered. During a recent visit, they were calm, curious, and accepted head pats — showing their sweet natures and quiet readiness for more love and attention.
They deserve a forever home with room to roam, shelter, good food, and the freedom to simply be pigs — respected for who they are.

Lola
Duvauchelle, Bank Penisula

Lola is a beautiful 5-year-old Friesian cow with a gentle nature and a story that deserves a kind new chapter. Originally adopted from a local dairy farm where she was destined for slaughter due to a congenital neck deformity, Lola was given a second chance at life by a compassionate carer.
Her neck is permanently bent to the right — a condition she was born with — and although her front hooves are slightly pigeon-toed, neither issue affects her mobility or appetite. She is not dehorned, and has never been in calf.
Lola is healthy, mobile, feeds well, and has adapted beautifully to life — but she currently grazes alone, and we believe she would thrive emotionally and socially if she could join a small, caring herd where she has the companionship she deserves.
NAIT status and transport to be discussed.

Missy
Rolleston, Canterbury

Missy is a beautiful 9-month-old Auckland Island pig with a gentle nature and a curious spirit. She was raised with care and has had space to roam, but due to a change in family circumstances, her situation has recently shifted.
Her current carers love her deeply but don’t have the space or setup to care for her long-term. She urgently needs a safe, secure home where she can continue to thrive. Missy deserves more than to be passed around or face an uncertain future — she deserves kindness, stability, and love.
If you have the land, time, and heart to offer Missy the home she needs, please get in touch. Rehoming is urgent, but we are committed to finding the right fit where she will be safe and valued.

Porky
Foxton, Manawatū-Whanganui

Porky is a charming, roughly 2-year-old pig with a sweet nature and a second chance at life. He was rescued by his current caretaker after his previous owners, who were moving to a new farm job, were not allowed to bring him along. They were devastated at the thought of him being destroyed — and thankfully, his rescuer stepped in to provide him with temporary safety and care.
Believed to be a wild pig originally caught in the Whanganui region, Porky is surprisingly tame and easygoing. Despite his wild origins, he enjoys human company and has adapted well to his current environment. He’s still growing, and his playful spirit and gentle demeanor make him a joy to be around.
In the photo, you can see Porky soaking up the sunshine — content and relaxed, a picture of peace. What he really needs now is a forever home where he can continue to thrive and grow in a safe, caring environment.

Solly and Martha
Loburn, North Canterbury

Solly and Martha are a well-bonded pair of cattle who have been lovingly cared for and are now looking for a forever home where they can continue to thrive.
Solly is a Friesian steer with striking black and white colouring. He’s 4 years and 10 months old, friendly, and full of character.
Martha is a dairy cross heifer, aged 5 years and 11 months, with a beautiful dark brown/black coat. She’s equally affectionate and enjoys human attention.
Both are calm, well-behaved animals who will come running for their multifeed nuts and enjoy hay, especially during the winter months. They've received regular drenching and have never experienced any health issues.
They do, however, have a cheeky side — they’re known to test the boundaries if the electric fence isn’t working, so a secure property with reliable hot wire fencing, shelter, fresh water, and supplementary feed access is essential.

Sunny & Cher
Invercargill, Southland

Meet Sunny and Cheer – Two Bonded Pigs in Need of a Loving Forever Home
Sunny and Cheer are four-year-old sister pigs who have been lovingly cared for since they were weaned from their mother. They’ve lived a peaceful, free-range life on a spacious one-acre pasture, where they’ve had the opportunity to roam, root, and enjoy each other’s company in a natural setting.
Their current caretaker has provided them with a wonderful life, but due to a change in circumstances and not having land of their own, they can no longer keep them. Rather than risk them being euthanized, the caretaker is seeking a safe, compassionate home where Sunny and Cheer can continue living out their lives with the dignity and freedom they deserve.
